University Of Newcastle Advisory Days on 6 and 22 January. YEAR 9 CAREERS IN PRACTICE: Students in Yr 9 have spent the last few weeks of Term 4 learning about the NSW Rural Fire Service. They were given information on the career paths that exist within the industry as well as learning about the benefits of undertaking Volunteer Work within a community. Mr. Terry Job PHS RFS Cadet Coordinator put students through a scenario of trying to save a casualty from a burning building. Students thoroughly enjoyed the practical approach to this school-to-work exercise.   REMINDER!
