The process involved students undertaking a mock job application scenario to develop their job seeking, application and interview skills; such as communication, presentation, dress requirements and portfolio writing. I would like to thank the employers who gave up their time to conduct the interviews and I would also like to acknowledge the HSIE Department, Ms Nicholson and Mrs Job for assisting me with this very valuable careers activity.  YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE: A reminder to those Yr 10 students who applied to do work experience this term, you need to return the student placement record by the beginning of Week 9 ( Monday 22nd June.) An Induction and final package will be given Thursday. Please note Applications for Term 3 work experience Week 5 (24th-28th August) need to be handed to me by the end of this term Friday 10th July. This includes application letter, resume / portfolio, personal statement. See Handbook for details. The Institute of Chartered Accountants produce a Cadetship Guide which lists the cadetships that Year 12 2009 can apply for. RailCorp Apprenticeships 2010 Closing Date: 10-Jul-2009 Charles Sturt University will offer two new degrees in Orange in 2010: Physiotherapy and Health and Rehabilitation Science.  The Maths Online program is provided free of charge to every secondary school student in Australia. It is an independent online maths tutoring program based on Australian state curricula for Years 7 -12.
