• 2009 University of Western Sydney (UWS) Most Outstanding Year11 Scholarship: EBHS has been invited to nominate one student for this prestigious award valued at $20,000 plus a conditional offer of early admission and a $500 study grant for use in 2010. The recipient does not have to attend UWS but if they do choose too they will have their fees covered. UWS has medicine, law, business and a broad range of other degrees. • University of Sydney HSC Course: ‘Mind & Morality’ This courses meets the needs of high achieving Year 11 students (2009) who wish to take the opportunity to study a philosophy courses whilst at school. See Mrs Ramsay for brochure.

• Want to be an electrician? – Meadowbank TAFE will run a Pre Vocational Course in term 1 2010 for students who have left school.
