The new Calendar will have a 13-7-13 teaching pattern and will, for the first time, incorporate an intensive Winter Term of 7 weeks. The intention of the new Academic Calendar is to give you, the student, greater flexibility and opportunity when it comes to your studies. For example, you may shorten the length of your degree by taking more units of study in a year. Or, you may lesson your study load by spreading your study across three teaching periods in a year. In other words, it will give you even greater control over your studies. Of course, how you design your study program will be up to you. It will not be compulsory for you to study in the Winter Term - it is just another option for you to consider. A full time study load will remain at 24 credit points i.e. generally 8 units of study. http://www.canberra.edu.au/academic-calendar/home ![]() Top 200 world universities:http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/Rankings2009-Top200.html| Term 4, Week 9, 14 - 20 December 2009 | Term 4, Week 8, 7 - 13 December 2009 | Term 4, Week 7, 30 November - 6 December 2009 | Term 4, Week 6, 23 - 29 November 2009 | Term 4, Week 5, 16 - 22 November 2009 | Term 4, Week 4, 9 - 15 November 2009 | Term 4, Week 3, 2 - 8 November 2009 | Term 4, Week 2, 26 October - 1 November 2009 | Term 4, Week 1, 19 - 25 October 2009 | Spring Holiday 2009 | Term 3, Week 10, 28 September - 4 October 2009 | Term 3, Week 9, 21 - 27 September 2009 | Term 3, Week 8, 14 - 20 September 2009 | Term 3, Week 7, 7 - 13 September 2009 | Term 3, Week 6, 31 August - 6 September 2009 | Term 3, Week 5, 24 - 30 August 2009 | Term 3, Week 4, 17 - 23 August 2009 | Term 3, Week 3, 10 - 16 August 2009 | Term 3, Week 2, 3 - 9 August 2009 | Term 3, Week 1, 27 July - 2 August 2009 | Winter Holiday, 13 - 26 July 2009 | Semester 1 2009 | | High Schools Home | What's New 2010 | What's New 2009 | EventsCalendar 2010 | NewsEventsSchools | | Return Home | NEWS/EVENTS/SCHOOLS | Post School | Course Search | Explore Careers | Careers Advice | Careers Advisers | Links | Contact Us | |
