![]() ![]() ![]() Penrith, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Regions Careers Advisers "Banango Traders" is a free business simulation game being run by, Peter Van Ryneveld, the founder of the game, in a number of different venues during the first week of December. Schools should see this as a wonderful opportunity for Year 9 students to gain further knowledge which might impact on future subject choices and facilitate their eventual transition from school to work. Careers Advisors are not being asked to run with this programme, rather their assistance is requested to pass on the information to Maths, Visual Art, Science, Food Technology, Design and Technology and Work Education teachers and/or members of school management teams who might want to explore this educational game, possibly with a view to running it themselves (in Years 8 - 12) in the future. We have received Expressions of Interest from 21 schools in the Penrith, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Regions to date. This is a final invitation to any schools who have not yet responded to the invitation to participate.
