New Resource to Promote School Based Traineeships/Apprenticeships

In 2008 work commenced on the development of a new promotional resource for school based apprenticeships and traineeships within local government. This National resource contains two short DVDs which promote School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships in Local Government. The first segment is designed to be utilised by schools to promote the uptake of this great initiative and features snapshots from a group of previous and current trainees and apprentices across a range of Local Government occupations.

The second segment is designed to be used by Career Advice Australia members or related agencies when promoting the up take of School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships to Local Councils. This DVD has been jointly developed by the Government and Community Safety National Industry Career Specialist and the NSW Public Sector ITAB
