Check this out with the campus offering your course before lodging your application.

Credit Transfer & Articulation

Many students complete a course at TAFE before going on to do university studies, and many students with university degrees then go on to do TAFE studies. If their qualifications already cover part of their new course they do not need to repeat this work. A typical example would be someone with a TAFE Diploma only having to do two years of a three year degree.
This arrangement has been formalised and full details can be found here.
In addition to these local credit transfer arrangements between the TAFE and university sectors, the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee (AVCC) has developed national credit transfer arrangements for students moving from TAFE to a related undergraduate course at university. Details can be found here.

New multimedia tool for careers advisers out now

Love your future- an interactive presentation was developed in response to feedback from Careers Advisers on the Love Your Future booklet launched in 2006 and aimed at Years 9 and 10. Careers Advisers told us that they found the book a useful tool and would also like a tool to present information to Year 11 and 12 students, comparable to the information provided by universities. This planted the seed that led to the development of Love your future - an interactive presentation.

Love your future- an interactive presentation is available online on the TAFE NSW website - www.tafensw.edu.au/careersadvisers. It can be used as an online presentation and can also be downloaded for later use. In addition, a promotional CD copy of the presentation has been sent to schools throughout NSW.

For more information on the presentation contact Yolanda Beatson - yolanda.beatson@det.nsw.edu.au.
