Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is the centre of excellence for education in game development, 3D animation and visual FX industries in Australia. AIE was recognised as Australia’s Small Training Provider of the Year at the 2007 National Training Awards. AIE’s specialist education is nationally accredited under the Australian Qualification Framework and internationally renowned as one of the world’s first to offer qualifications in these industry areas.

As a founding member of the Game Developers Association of Australia we continue to foster strong connections with local and interactional game developers and have strong links with 3D animation and production studios.
AIE has consistently achieved high employment rates for its graduates since its establishment in 1996. Many of the people making the hiring decisions in these companies are AIE graduates.

The Schools Industry Partnership is part of the Australian Government’s Career Advice Australia network. This network supports all young people aged 13 to 19 in their transitions through school and onto further study, training or work.
