There are many more scholarships than those that are mentioned on this site, and you should use the university websites and/or contact the universities to see what is being offered. Go to the NSW/ACT Universities Info page, the Interstate Universities Info page, and click on scholarships for each university. For other universities look on their websites CLICK HERE. Chartered Accountant Organisation's Cadetships A cadetship involves paid employment at the same time as you're studying your business/commerce degree. CLICK HERE  Grant Thornton Cadet Recruitment We seek students in Year 12 who expect to successfully complete their secondary studies before undertaking a relevant business focused degree with an accounting major. UNSW Co-op Program Scholars receive a tax-free scholarship of $15,000 per annum, as well as structured Industrial Training (between 9 and 18 months), gaining valuable work experience with up to four different sponsors. http://www.coop.unsw.edu.au  Coulton Isaac Barber - Chartered Accountant Cadetships The cadetship program is offered to students who are about to complete their higher school certificate and gives them the opportunity to attend a combination of both full-time and part-time university whilst obtaining the essential on-the-job training. During the first year of employment first year university students are required to work full time and attend university on a part-time basis. This ensures that the students gain the practical experience to assist them during their university degree studies. After the completion of the first full years employment undergraduates are offered the opportunity of working under a sandwich course approach. Under this approach undergraduates attend university full-time and work part-time for the first six months of the calendar year then during the second half of the year they work full-time and attend university part-time. This approach allows the undergraduates to complete their university degree quicker than completing it on a permanent part-time basis, whilst permitting on the job training and the gaining of practical experience in the areas taught at university. Most are industry sponsored and valued from $12,000 to $48,000. The RTA will also sponsor up to 20 Engineering scholarships for current school leavers with a rural/regional NSW or ACT residential address.  TEACHING SCHOLARSHIPS. Each year at least 230 scholarships are offered to ensure more graduate teachers are available in the schools where they are needed most. The scholarships support talented students who wish to be employed as secondary teachers in mathematics, science, technological and applied studies or English. The scholarships cover the cost of HECS fees for subjects successfully completed while studying for a teacher qualification. A training allowance of $1,500 for each year of the scholarship is also provided to meet the costs of incidentals, textbooks and student administration fees. Energy Australia - Electrical Engineering Cadetship Program The Electrical Engineering Cadetship Program combines full time University study and work experience at EnergyAustralia.
