Named UOW Selective Entry; the students select UOW and UOW selects them. This program replaces the Early Entry program that has been operating for over 10 years. What does this change mean for me? The biggest change that may affect you is the introduction of academic eligibility criteria. This means that not everyone will be able to apply to the program. You must meet the published elgibility criteria to be considered for Selective Entry. The other difference is we are including some of our elite degrees that were not offered as part of Early Entry. To give you a quick idea about how Selective Entry will work, the key elements are; The availability of the majority of undergraduate degrees The offering of UOW flagship/elite courses Eligibility determined by published minimum academic criteria Students will be assessed according to their academic performance and/or interview, or other selection criteria Applications will be online, opening 1 July and closing on 15 August 2012.
