6:30pm Ms Kim Paino, Director of Information Services, Universities Admissions Centre
The Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR)
In 2009 the UAI will be replaced by the ATAR. This change will effect all HSC students. Kim Paino will be speaking about what these changes mean for students and why they have been made.

7:00pm Ms Kathlyn Smart, Assistant Registrar – Coursework Studies, Macquarie University
Academic Advantage and uniTEST, Macquarie University's Bonus Point and Alternative Entry Schemes
Academic Advantage is Macquarie University's bonus point scheme that recognises HSC and IB students achievements in subjects that relate specifically to Macquarie degree programs. The bonus point scheme also provides high school students with a clear indication of high school subjects that are relevant to their degree programs.
uniTEST is an alternative entry test. To sit the test students must be eligible under the EAS scheme or from a DEEWR priority school.

An essential revision program HSC Winter School is an intensive revision and exam preparation program to assist students who are preparing for trial and final exams. The aim of the program is to provide an analysis of key areas enabling students to prioritise revision and improve exam skills and techniques.

Each student will receive a detailed set of lecture notes, which have been specifically designed for these lectures and are a valuable revision tool.

HSC Winter School offers 31 sessions, including 11 English sessions.
