Entry by ATAR and HSC Plus.
HSC Plus gives bonus points for HSC subjects relevant to the course applied for.
HSC Plus is being updated (language study added)
Elite Athletes and Performers/Leaders entry.
298 applied for 2010, 132 enrolled.
Leaders should have done: Duke of Edinburgh's, debating, School Captain, etc.
Elite students program available for entry to Law. (Can make a big difference!)
Internal Transfers. Guaranteed transfer to Arts/Law from Arts with good enough marks. This is an important option for students who just miss out on entry to Arts/Law.
Diploma of Science/Engineering/Technology and Diploma of Humanities are good options for students who took the wrong HSC subjects.
Indigenous Students. The university gives entry to any that they think will succeed. 10 Indigenous students starting medicine this year.
Aspire Program. Works with schools where usually no students get to university. 23 students have accepted places in 2010 from this program.
